The World of Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong is an enormous place, so large that if you’re not wearing your compass tool, you’ll find yourself getting lost more times than you can count.
Thankfully, in the Marrow, you’ll meet a not-so-friendly Bell Beast who challenges you to a match. To win her respect, you’ll have to defeat her in a contest of strength. Once defeated, now you’ll have a faithful companion, willing to escort you all the way across the vast expanse of Pharloom.
Here, I’ll show you all the 12 stations that you can unlock so you can fast-travel to your heart’s content, and, of course, get that tasty achievement.
Bone Bottom
This station can be travelled to as soon as you’ve defeated the Bell Beast for the first time. It links directly to the main hub area, and you’ll find yourself travelling here pretty much constantly as you adventure through Pharloom.
Remember, every time you go searching for a Bellway Station, make sure you have enough Rosaries on hand. They can be up to 120 beads!
The Marrow
While this is the second station that you’ll usually encounter on your adventure, it’s the first one that you can actually use, as you fight the Bell Beast here for the first time.
If you’ve faced the Massive Moss charger in the previous Hollow Knight game, you shouldn’t have any trouble with this boss. Oddly enough, this is probably one of the least useful stations, as there isn’t a lot to do in the Marrow.
Deep Docks
Next up is the Deep Docks station, which is found very early on in the area. This is a great place for travelling up through the Hunter’s March or just for exploring the Deep Docks, which is honestly way bigger than I previously imagined.
Look out for the wall on the left, you might just find something interesting!
Far Fields
The Far Fields certainly seems like a pretty small area early on in the game, but let me tell you, it opens up a lot more later on, similar to the Deep Docks.
Remember, if you’re trying to find a certain station, just look out for the Bellway sign pictured below.
This station can be found in the main vertical column that runs through the centre of the Far Fields and provides brilliant access to areas like Greymoor and the eastern Deep Docks.
Greymoor
The next station you’ll encounter is the one located near the Halfway Home in Greymoor. This provides great access when doing quests like Crawbug Clearing or if you need to head up to Sinner’s Road.
You can find this station by heading west through Halfway Home, past the tall building, down the cliff and then doubling back on yourself. There’s a hidden entrance to the rat’s nest below, just near the station entrance.
Bellhart
Bellhart is the second main hub area that you’re going to encounter, and once it’s restored after your fight with the Widowyou’ll gain access to a bunch of new shops and a wishboard for completing new quests.
The Bellway here also has a secret entrance to the far right, which leads down into the Bellhart tunnels, where you can find silver bells and an NPC who you’ll come back to later on in your journey.
Shellwood
The Shellwood Bellway is certainly a useful one, being a central location that leads to many varied biomes. You can use this station if you want to head over to the Blasted Stepscomplete bosses like Sister Splinter, or even go down into the Wormways.
The Shellwood Bellway can be found up a large vertical platforming area, far to the west, where you can hone your pogoing skills.
Blasted Steps
The Blasted Steps station is one I originally thought was pretty redundant, only being useful for resting to run back to the Last Judge boss fight. Oh, how wrong I was.
In fact, this is a fantastic station which you’ll end up using all the time as the area expands into Act 3. Or just for visiting areas like The Sands of Karak and The Grand Gate. You’ll have to run past this station every time you try to deliver the Courier’s Rasher, making you seriously miss your fast-travelling companion.
The Slab
You can get to the Slab by getting caught by one of the enemies carrying a large cage. You can find these in areas like the Sinner’s Road and the top section of the Deep Docks.
The Bellway station is found near the bottom after you’ve cleared out the main area and retrieved your items. Not only is this great for returning to the slab once you’ve found the third Keybut also for accessing Mount Fay and even the western part of the Citadel.
Grand Bellway
Ah, The Grand Bellway. This is almost certainly the station that you’re going to be using the most throughout your entire playthrough of Silksong.
The Citadel is such a ridiculously large map that it even has its own sub-areas and unique travel system called Ventrica stations. The Bellway is right next to a bench and a ventrica fast travel point that can whisk you away wherever you need to go.
In addition, anytime you want to head into the Whispering Vaults, the Underworks, or even Bilewater’s Exhaust Organ, this station has shortcuts that open up later on.
Bilewater
Bilewater… arguably the most irritating palace in the entirety of Silksong. As soon as I found the Bellway station here, I left immediately. Unfortunately, I had to come back, but the finding of the Bell Beast certainly made me sigh with relief.
This station isn’t really that useful apart from heading off into Bilewater or trying to venture your way through the Mist area, which is a real pain.
Putrified Ducts
The final station you will find requires you to have the Faydown Cloak along with everything else you’ve collected so far.
You will probably be close to finishing the game by the time you make it here. The Putrified Ducts can either be accessed by heading up from Bilewater and beating Groal the Great, or by heading east from the Memorium area of the Citadel.
Eventually, this area will become a wonderful home for the Flea Caravan, and you can use this station to go and refill your Flea Brew as many times as you wish!
