On Thursday, June 19, Sophie Thibault made her farewell to viewers during her latest newsletter.

Emblematic figure of the Quebec media landscape, Sophie Thibault held the post of news reader for more than 20 years. Recognized as the first woman in North America to direct a newsletter, she is about to return to the screen with a project that is particularly close to her heart.
Indeed, the journalist by training returns to television as part of a documentary on skin cancer. A personal subject, since she herself received this diagnosis in 2017. Through this project, she wishes to raise awareness of this disease still too little known and often underestimated.
The shooting of the documentary took place in August, and Sophie Thibault shared some images of this experience on her Instagram account.
